I first started getting tattoos in college, but my love for the figures and stories depicted in them began long before I ever went to school.

I have always believed the pen is mightier than the sword. These pieces were the beginning of my sleeve, and I am so pleased with how they turned out.

When my artist asked what I was looking for in a sleeve, I told her I wanted my arm to look like a fantasy book had been printed on it, but you couldn't quite put your finger on what one.

This sleeve includes illustrations which are referential to some of my favorite stories, new and old. There are also a number of quotes from my favorite books, plays, and films.

This piece was loosely inspired by the goddess Persephone. I love how her story has evolved over the years. To me, she symbolizes so many meaningful things, but above all, she is a goddess who lives in a world of contradictions while being completely at ease. I strive for that.

These tattoos are actually a series of cover ups, but I think they turned out way better than I ever could have imagined. They are a constant reminder of how small our world is, how much we still have to learn, and to appreciate what we have now.

These artists rock.
Check out the amazing artists who worked so hard to bring my story to life, they definitely deserve it.
